Welcome and Introduction
Welcome to today’s Prepper Church gathering. Our focus is Duty to God—a core principle not just in Scouting, but also a calling that every believer is given. We'll explore what God expects from His people—not just in theory, but in how we live, serve, and prepare our lives according to His Word.
Opening Prayer
Heavenly Father, we thank You for calling us to Yourself—not because we earned it, but because You are good. Teach us today what it means to truly fulfill our duty to You. Help us to listen, learn, and live out Your expectations in a world that so often ignores You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

"He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” --Micah 6:8 (AMP)
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.” --Matthew 22:37–38 (AMP)
Message: “Duty to God Survival Kit – What God Expects from Us"
- Compass – Follow God’s commandments with purpose. “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105
- Boots/shoes – Walk humbly with God in everyday choices. “Walk humbly with your God.” – Micah 6:8
- Cordage – Love God and love others; this ties everything together. “On these two commandments hang all the Law...” – Matthew 22:37–40
- Notebook and pen/pencil – Study God’s Word; write it on your heart. “Bind them continually on your heart; write them on the tablet of your heart.” – Proverbs 6:21
- Firestarter – Serve God with enthusiasm and spiritual passion. “Never lag in zeal; be aglow and burning with the Spirit.” – Romans 12:11
- Map – Trust and obey God’s direction, not your own shortcuts. “In all your ways know and acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” – Proverbs 3:6
- Signal mirror – Be holy and reflect God’s character in your actions. “Be holy, because I am holy.” – 1 Peter 1:16
- Whistle – Pray without ceasing; call out to God at all times. “Be unceasing and persistent in prayer.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:17
- Multi-tool – Be prepared and equipped for every good work. “...thoroughly equipped for every good work.” – 2 Timothy 3:17
Just like many lessons in our walk with God, everyday items can point us to eternal truths. The tools we carry in a survival or camp kit can do more than help us in the wilderness—they can teach us the Gospel and remind us of what God expects from those who serve Him. Let these simple objects become daily reminders of your Duty to God.
