The 10 C’s of Christmas Eve for Kids

The 10 C’s of Christmas Eve for Kids

  1. Cookies – Leave some for Santa… and learn how to bake them from scratch when the power’s out.
  2. Candy Canes – Sweet treats today, emergency sugar calories tomorrow.
  3. Clothing – Socks and underwear are boring until your only pair is wet and it’s –20 °F. Say thank you, even if you think they are a dumb present!
  4. Candle – We light one on the table tonight; it’s also how we’ll light the house if the grid goes dark.
  5. Cocoa – Warm drinks make everything better. Keep extra powdered milk and cocoa in the pantry.
  6. Carols – Singing together keeps spirits high when phones are dead and Wi-Fi is gone.
  7. Cutting Tool – The little pocket knife in your stocking isn’t a toy… it’s for opening presents and everything else life throws at you.
  8. Cordage – Pretty ribbon on the packages today, paracord for shelters and fixes tomorrow.
  9. Compass – Santa knows north… so should you! (Bonus if it’s the one on your new watch.)
  10. Christ the King – The real reason we do all of this: love came down, and that’s the ultimate hope when everything else fails.
