I really like this chair. It is NOT a backpacking chair, but it is a great outdoor activity chair. It has a lot of space, strength, and ability to support not only me but heavy bags or items that often can get tossed on a chair.

Big cup holder and side pockets
I would not recommend this chair for backpacking--it's just too big for that. But if you're driving up to a campsite or a sporting event, or have a neighborhood party a few houses down it's not bad to carry at all. The strength and stability of the chair make it a first choice for me just about every time.
